Youthful Carelessness

I grew up in Schaffhausen together with my younger brother. Later my much younger sister joined us. My youth was marked by a number of careless deeds. So one day we wanted to go down the Rhine Falls on a raft. We were actually convinced that we would come through undamaged.

The raft was built and we were already on the water when somebody on the waterfront noticed us and called the river police. So everything turned out well for us. More of such stories I better keep to myself!
 

Tackling Something, that's what I Like!

Wood has always been my Passion!

Not least after the building of our raft I realized that wood was my element. That's why I made a training to become a carpenter after having finished school. After the end of my apprenticeship I was offered a leading position because of a personnel change.

Three years later I took over the carpenter's workshop and so I dared to take my first steps into self-employment.  I seized this opportunity and now I am a - more or less - successfull entrepreneur.
